Functional Lab Assessment
A deeper, more precise way to understand your health.
Functional lab interpretation beyond 'normal' limits!
At Holistika, functional lab assessment isn’t about running more tests — it’s about reading labs differently.
We evaluate results using tighter, optimal ranges, alongside your symptoms, nutrition, lifestyle, and health history, to identify imbalances that may be missed in conventional care.
If you’ve been told “everything looks normal,” but you still don’t feel well, this approach helps explain why — and what to do next.

How it works
How Functional Lab Assessment Works
Step 1 —
Purchase your Functional Lab Assessment
Clients begin by purchasing a Functional Lab Assessment, which includes professional interpretation and a personalized assessment report.
Purchase & Schedule Your Intake
Step 2 —
Schedule your intake appointment
During your intake visit, we review your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, and any existing labs to determine which tests will provide the most meaningful insight.
Labs may be:
Ordered through Labcorp or Quest, or
Coordinated with your primary care provider, when applicable
All lab options and costs are reviewed before testing.
Step 3 — Complete your labs
Labs are completed at your local draw center or as directed. Once results are available, our team reviews them in preparation for your assessment.
Step 4 — Functional Lab Assessment & Report
We run your results through our internal functional assessment system, interpreting labs using tighter, optimal ranges and pattern analysis across systems.
You’ll receive a comprehensive Functional Lab Assessment Report, not just a list of numbers.
Step 5 — Results review & personalized plan
We meet for a follow-up visit to:
Review your assessment report in detail
Explain findings in clear, practical terms
Create a personalized plan that may include:
Nutrition strategies
Targeted supplements (when appropriate)
Lifestyle medicine guidance
Discuss next steps and follow-up options
Important to know
Functional lab assessments focus on interpretation and insight, not diagnosis.
Labs are ordered thoughtfully and only when appropriate.
Nutrition counseling visits may be covered by insurance; lab assessments are self-pay.
