Position Overview

We are seeking a Spanish-speaking Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with an active CDR credential to join our outpatient telehealth team as a W-2 employee. This is a structured clinical role within an established practice. This position is not designed for individuals seeking to build an independent private practice or create their own client base. We are looking for clinicians committed to growing within a team-based, person-centered care model. Part-time availability of 20–25 hours per week is required. Some evening and weekend availability is expected to meet patient demand.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in California‍ ‍

  • 1–2 years outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy experience‍ ‍

  • Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written)‍ ‍

  • Experience providing telehealth counseling‍ ‍

  • Strong clinical documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • Commitment to evidence-based, person-centered care

  • Must pass a background check‍ ‍

  • Must successfully complete a two-part interview process‍ ‍

Metabolic Health

  • Insulin resistance

  • Prediabetes and Type 2 Diabetes

  • Dyslipidemia

  • Hypertension

  • Sustainable weight management

  • CGM interpretation and metabolic pattern analysis

Diabetes Care‍ ‍

  • Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes

  • Gestational Diabetes

  • Medication–nutrition coordination

  • Blood glucose pattern management

  • Long-term behavior change strategies

PCOS and Women’s Health‍ ‍

  • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)

  • Hormonal and metabolic balance

  • Fertility-supportive nutrition

  • Insulin resistance in women

  • Perimenopause metabolic transitions

Eating Disorders and Disordered Eating

  • Restrictive eating patterns

  • Binge eating behaviors

  • Food guilt and fear-based eating

  • Collaborative care with therapists

  • Weight-neutral and non-diet approaches

  • Trauma-informed nutrition counseling

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy via telehealth

  • Deliver culturally competent Spanish-language care

  • Develop personalized, goal-centered care plans

  • Integrate lifestyle medicine pillars including nutrition, sleep, stress management, movement, and connection

  • Utilize motivational interviewing and behavior change frameworks

  • Interpret labs and collaborate on functional testing when clinically appropriate

  • Complete charting within required timelines

  • Participate in team meetings and paid trainings

  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional standards

Schedule and Compensation

  • W-2 employee position

  • Part-time: 20–25 hours per week

  • Hourly rate: $45–$55 per hour, based on experience

  • Paid administrative/charting time

  • Paid trainings

  • Performance-based bonuses

  • Ability to set schedule within clinic parameters

  • Some evening and weekend availability required
